Scott’s foundation in electronics engineering began with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from the College of the North Atlantic. Committed to his professional development, he pursued further certifications, obtaining a Red Seal as a journeyperson in the Industrial Instrumentation and Control Technician trade and earning a Professional Technologist designation. These qualifications have equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in his complex role at Aker Solutions.

Scott’s typical work week runs Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. His daily tasks involve both administrative and technical work, such as document preparation, project planning, and site review. Scott’s ability to interpret engineered drawings is critical to his role, as it ensures that on-the-ground tasks are aligned with design specifications. Although based in an office environment, he periodically visits offshore sites to conduct inspections and oversee project milestones.
